The website has just had a bit of a clean after the summer holidays with all the training times, match times and coach details refreshed. The club goes from strength to strength with 10 teams covering football in the community for kids born in 2014 through to 2004. We've now got three dedicated girls teams/squads too and three newly qualified SYFA coaches. If you are interested in getting involved or have a child who'd like to play football locally in Gullane, now is the time to get in touch!
The festival is in full flow with lots of fantastic kids football taking place. A huge thanks to all the clubs visiting today. 2008’s are currently playing with the girls football kicking off at 12:30

There are few occasions we struggle to find words! However this is certainly one of them. Provisionally The Festival raised over £11,500. It’s a phenomenal amount of money, which will all be going to a great cause; the Jess Mackie Memorial Fund. The money raised will be used to deliver musical therapy initiatives at the Edinburgh Children’s Hospital. There were roughly 1,250 attending the day including 450 kids playing football and 150 adults playing in the tournament. It’s a great reflection of the community spirit in Gullane that so many came along to support. It's genuinely impossible to list absolutely everyone who helped and supported us to make the day such a massive success; kids, parent, players, coaches, volunteers, and sponsors. Without the support you all, it simply could not…

Well done to the 2009 squad today who won all their games in the Tranent Football Festival today. The style of play was really encouraging with plenty of good passages of play and lots of passing and moving; a real team effort. In goal Rory kept a clean sheet in the final game against Longniddry and made some fantastic saves. Harris, Fred and Ollie S were strong in defence and Jack made some strong runs with the ball. In the second game against Tranent, Josh scored a cracker with his left and Milo and Ollie H both made some lovely runs down the right wing, getting past defenders and crossing into the box. On the left Kyle and Craig (we wont mention the Rabonas!) also made a real impact. And…
Gullane Athletic AFC will be holding a football festival on Saturday 11th August.
On Saturday 21st May Gullane Athletic U14 played Currie Star Colts in the final of the Charles Kilvin Cup having beaten Eyemouth United, Edinburgh United and Craigroyston BC along the way. In the first half the Gullane players saw their nerves get the better of them and they didn't play anywhere near the level that that they had in the last few weeks. At half time the score was Currie Star Colts 2 - 0 Gullane Athletic. The players raised it a level in the second half and had numerous chances including a controversially disallowed goal. They finally put one in after a well worked period of play. The final score was Currie Star Colts 3 - 1 Gullane Athletic.
