The clubs AGM will be held this year at the Golf Inn Hotel (Garden Room) on Wednesday 24th February 2016 at 8.30pm. It is vital that as many coaches, parents, supporters of the club attend to ensure that the committee can continue to develop the club that reflects the wishes of all those who are involved.
The 2007 squad started off 2016 in fantastic form this weekend at our first of three 5-a-side futsal tournaments scheduled for the first quarter of the year. We continued our high standard of 5-a-side performances to date with a great set of results which saw us win all 5 games against COCKENZIE, 2 NORTH BERWICK TEAMS, ABERLADY, and last but far from least HADDINGTON. With a squad of 8 including the brothers Stemp (Harry & Ollie), Harry O’, Cameron F, Josh MC, Benji B, Christian L & Charlie G we rotated Goalkeepers in each game and spread out our game time fairly evenly, we also received a few plaudits from rival coaches (which is always nice). A big plus was seeing that great fun was had by all involved with…
The club are delighted to announce that Izzy Ratcliffe, who plays with our 2004 squad, has been called up to SFA U14 South East Region Performance Squad. This is a fantastic achievement by Izzy who is still only 11 years old. Izzy came to the club in 2014 after playing at Aberlady FC. This is a superb reflection on both football clubs. Congratulations Izzy.
The committee are delighted to announce that for the 3rd year running Clydesdale Bank Foundation have kindly provided the club with a grant of £500. These funds will help us meet the costs incurred as the club continues to grow. In 2016 we will be bringing on new coaches who will be going through their SFA coaching sessions and obtaining their First Aid qualifications. In addition some of our training gear needs replaced, including footballs, training bibs, and cones. The club are extremely grateful for the continued support of Clydesdale Bank.

This Saturday (14th) our 2007 side, including our regulars and 2 Harrys travelled to Meadowmill for the challenge of the advanced 5 - a - side teams in their age group. Gladly the elements subsided long enough for us to enjoy 3 tough games. First up was one of two North Berwick teams, which proved a good test after a slow start with 2 well worked goals from Cameron. We were unlucky not to capitalize even more from some good chances. Then we quickly moved onto a game against the second of two North Berwick sides. This time we had a better performance and more team effort, with some great passing work and a fine goal from young Fraser. It was a closer contest than the final score showed. Last…
The 2007 team, including 2 Stemp brothers, battled both local rivals Haddington and the elements on a stormy afternoon in a friendly home fixture at Memorial park. It was a 7 a side contest of epic proportions. The passing style of Haddington coupled with an aggressive attacking formation made for a tough contest for the home side, but after a slow start we all gave a good account of ourselves. It was good to see our regulars lead by example and contribute to a great set of games, assisting in goals from Charlie, Fraser and Christian. These friendly 7 a side fixtures are a great way of preparing our skilled 2007 team for the challenges ahead; it also shows how far we have come in a short space of time.…
