A massive well down to all our age groups who played this weekend. From the 2008 who started on their 5 a side footballing journey this weekend through to the 07’s, 06’s, 05’s and the 04’s. I am sure if anyone took the opportunity to go along to Memorial Park on a bright sunny Saturday morning they would have been impressed by all the age groups playing. Grassroots football flourishes in Gullane which is all down to the coaches involved and the parental volunteers so well done to all. If you are interested in your child playing or indeed getting involved yourself please just get in touch. The club is very much community oriented and no matter your viewpoint on the proposed developments coming to Gullane, the football club, hockey clubs, cricket clubs and other clubs help maintain and engender that community feel that some are concerned at losing as a result of those proposed developments, so get involved, as a supporter a volunteer or a coach at Gullane Athletic.
